Carl Hayes Died June 5,2012

Carl James Hayes, 91, passed away on June 5, 2012 in West Branch.

He was born on August 4, 1920, in West Branch, to Frank and Olith Hayes. Carl married Margaret Hayes (Nee Banghart) on September 21, 1951, in West Branch where they lived together for nearly 60 years until she passed away last summer.

Carl is survived by his sister, Thelma Katherine “Kitty” Hayes of West Branch; three sons, Mark E. Hayes of Bastrop, Texas, Kerry T. Hayes (Joyce) of Venice, Florida, and Tim F. Hayes of West Branch; he is also survived by two step-sons, G. Barry Wilkinson (Janet) of West Branch, Brian Wilkinson of Oviedo, Florida; seven grandchildren, Krystil N. Hayes of Texas, Taylor M. Hayes of Texas, Seamus K. Hayes of Colorado, Barry J. Wilkinson (Bernadette) of Massachusetts, Mary N. Wilkinson of Massachusetts, Dalen (Burt) Colucci of Arkansas, Lindsey Wilkinson of Florida; and one great grandchild, Dominic Colucci of Arkansas.

He worked for Muskegon Development Co. for over 40 years in the West Branch area.

Carl was cremated and burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Branch.
