William P.

William P. “Bill” Hool, age 77 of Lupton, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at his home. Bill was born June 21, 1935, the son of Clement and Helen Hool. Bill lived in Lupton since 1992, formerly of Clarkston. Bill was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and was a founding father of Chiefs Youth Football League in Clarkston. Bill enjoyed snowmobiling, burning and chopping wood, and was a very special grandpa and great-grandpa.

Bill is survived by wife, Agnes of Lupton, daughter, Pamela (Ronald) Wilson of Clarkston, sons, Rodney (Debi) Hool of Clarkston, Scott (Pamela) Hool of Clarkston, Anthony (Rhonda) Hool of Grand Blanc, Nicholas (Cheryl) Hool of Livonia, Matthew (Kelly) Hool of Casselberry, FL, grandchildren, Sarah (Richie) Craine III, Michelle (Seth) Doty, Katie (Jason Sr.) Wangler, Derek (Jacqueline) Hool, Staff Sargent Rob (Stephanie) Hool, Kim Wilson, Stephanie Hool, Jaclyn Wilson, Nicholas Hool, Olivia Hool, Victoria Hool, Monica Hool, Cecilia Hool, Isabella Hool, Anthony Hool II, great-grandchildren, Jason Jr. Emily, Faith, and Sophia. Also surviving are brothers, Carl (Lillian) Hool of Columbiaville, MI, Francis”Eggo” Hool of FL, sisters, Marlene (Irvin) Booms of Lupton, Beverly Shimetz of Dearborn Heights, Judy (Ron) Strauss of Durand, and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM with family receiving friends from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family, Hospice Advantage, and St Jude’s Children Hospital.
