Anna May Karpinski

Anna May Karpinski, age 22, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. She had lived in West Branch for the past 17 years, formerly of Detroit, MI. Anna was born on January 27, 1995 in Detroit to Walter Karpinski IV and Colleen (Gentry) Kaniewski. She was a member of the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church and a manager at the Wendy’s Restaurant in West Branch. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and she adored her beautiful children.

Anna is survived by her children, Aubriellah Rose Claudio and Xavier Jesus Claudio Jr. both of West Branch; significant other Xavier Claudio of West Branch; mother, Colleen (Ed) Kaniewski of West Branch; grandma, Margaret Gentry of West Branch; grandpas, Richard Luckritz and Ed (MaryAnn) Kaniewski Sr. all of West Branch; brother, Justin (Caelin Licari) Karpinski of Detroit; sister, Carah (Josh) Kaniewski of West Branch; half-brother, Robert Karpinski of Detroit; and half-sister, Kristin Karpinski of Detroit.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 1-9PM. Funeral services will be held at the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11:00AM with visitation from 10-11AM. Pastor David Kurtz will officiate with burial following at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
