Barbara Berniece Keehn

Barbara Berniece Keehn, age 83, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at her home in West Branch. She was born on February 26, 1936 in Flint to Victor and Berniece (Faulk) LaLonde. She lived in West Branch since 1984, formerly of Flint. Barbara attended the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church and was a member of the West Branch Lioness Club and the Oddfellows. She retired from General Motors in the early 1980’s and moved to the Clear Lake area. She enjoyed playing BINGO, casino trips, sewing, crocheting, knitting, cooking, baking, especially pies and animals, her cats, dogs and granddogs.

Barbara is survived by her children, Bruce (Debra) Barker of Flint, Sandra DeSmit of West Branch, Raymond (Amanda) Barker of Flint, Randall Barker of North Branch; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Bruce Barker Sr.; 2nd husband, Carl Keehn; (and his living family) brothers, Bernard, Victor, Charles, and Robert; sister, Mable Ross; daughter in law, Charlene Barker; and son in law, John DeSmit.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 1:00PM at the Foster Township Hall 1968 N. Clear Lake Road, West Branch, MI 48661.
