Dean Allen Felton

Dean Allen Felton, age 65, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at his home in St. Helen, MI. He lived in St. Helen since 2003, formerly of Lapeer, MI and Fort Wayne, IN. Dean was born on April 29, 1954 in Lapeer to Charley and Lois (Skinner) Felton. On June 30, 2014, he married Deborah Baden in St. Helen. Dean retired from General Motors after 32 years working in the truck plant in Fort Wayne. Once he retired and moved to St. Helen, he worked and managed the Artesia Beach Campground in St. Helen and enjoyed fixing cb radios.

Dean is survived by his wife, Deborah Felton of St. Helen; children, Karen Felton of Lapeer and Mindy (Nick) Hudson of Guam; step-children, Krystal (Thomas) Mikolaizik, Rachel (Edward) Meir and Matthew Smith all of St. Helen; siblings, Richard (Becky) Felton of North Branch, Gary Felton of Imlay City, Charles “Chuck” (Marybeth) Felton of Livonia, Jeff (Joannie) Felton of Manistee and Pam Smith of Lapeer; and many grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Patricia Felton, Audrey Felton, Mack Felton, Jean and Joan Skinner; nephew, Tom Felton; niece, Connie Felton, and great nephew, Hunter Felton.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Mill Creek Church, 1270 West Commerce, Milford, MI 48381 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.
