Douglas Ivan Hotham

Douglas Ivan Hotham, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 18, 2019 at his home in West Branch. He was born on April 22, 1966 in West Branch to Walter and Janeice (Kaiser) Hotham. He lived in West Branch his entire life. Doug owned D & G Installation and installed flooring. He enjoyed bowling, going to the gym, being on a bowling league, model cars, grilling out and bon fires. Doug also enjoyed watching westerns and Little House on the Prairie. Most of all, spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite thing to do.

Doug is survived by his children, Shannon (Jamie) Parkinson of Prescott, Jamie (Jason) Thomas of Saginaw, Douglas (Brandy) Hotham of Rose City, Andy (Jesse) Hotham of Cheboygan, Jordan (Joshua) Hotham of Saginaw, Vincent Hotham of Harrison Twp., Jessica (Adam) Hotham of Detroit, and Jasmine (Robert Tripp) Hotham of West Branch; 24 grandchildren and another one on the way, 5 great grandchildren; brother, Dave (Lynn) Hotham of West Branch; and father, Walter (Chris) Hotham of West Branch. He is preceded in death by his mother, wife, Geraldine, and daughters, Theresa and Nicole.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
