Gary Russell Summers

Gary Russell Summers, age 71, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at his home in South Branch, MI. He lived in South Branch since 2010, formerly of Hale. Gary was born on March 17, 1949 in Christopher, IL to Norman and Betty (Brown) Summers. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1968-1971. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and racing cars.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Tracy Summers of Rose City; sons, James Summers of Rose City and Gregory (Brittany) Summers of SC; grandchildren, Zephorah Summers, Jenna Liberty, Gavin Wright, Connor Middleton and Amy Summers; great grandchild, Nova; sister, Debbie Summers of Fitchburg, WI; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken and no service is scheduled at this time.
