Gerald Michael Gola

Gerald Michael Gola Sr., age 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. He was born on September 16, 1946 in Hamtramck to John and Lucille (Lukasiewicz) Gola. He lived in Mio for the past 10 years, formerly of Utica. Jerry graduated from Utica High School and worked at Ford Motor for 30 years as an engineer. He served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam where he was a door gunner on the helicopter for the medivac missions.

Jerry is survived by his sons, Gerald Michael (Joelle Avery) Gola Jr. and Kenneth (Julie) Gola; beloved grandson, Jared Kenneth Gola; his grand puppy, Thunder; and brother, John Gola. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Gola.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
