Geraldine P. Oliver

Geraldine P. Oliver, age 87, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at The Villa at Rose City. She was born to Ira and Edwin (Stillwagon) Curtis in West Branch on December 12, 1931. Geraldine lived in West Branch her entire life. She married Adam Oliver Jr. in West Branch on May 12, 1951. She was a member at the Edwards Community Church and The Ladies Club where she helped prepare food for weddings and funerals. Geraldine was a wonderful cook and enjoyed canning, playing BINGO and euchre, crocheting and knitting.

Geraldine is survived by her children, Edwin Oliver and Dan (Connie) Oliver all of West Branch, Kim (Randy) Mier of Hope, Brad (Barbra) Oliver and Scott (Trudy) Oliver both of Rose City; 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchild; son in law, Victor Fisher; brother, Dutch (Carol) Curtis of West Branch; sisters, Mary (Jerry) Lucas of West Branch, Dorothy Clayton of West Branch and Betty (Bob) Coleman of Washington; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Gaynol Riley. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Adam and daughter, Nancy Fisher, and brothers, Virgil (Jeanne) Curtis, Leith Curtis, George (Mel) Curtis, Glen Curtis, and Carl (Elaine) Curtis.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. Burial will then follow at Edwards Township Cemetery. Pastor Jon Scott will officiate.
