Keith Gilmore Avram

Keith G. Avram, age 86, of West Branch passed away peacefully at his home with his loved ones by his side on Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was born on November 11, 1932 in Alger, MI to George and Cecelia (Seder) Avram. He married Alice Wallace on July 19, 1951. Keith enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, and had a love for John Deere tractors. He worked for DeFoe’s Shipyard in Bay City for many years and retired from Star Cutters Heat Treating of West Branch.

Keith is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Alice Avram; children, Pam (John) Kroger, Karen (Rick) Brabo, Sherry Meir, Kenneth (Amy) Avram and Lynn (Kurt) Richards; grandchildren, Jeremy and Heath Meir, Autum Hunter, Kerri Brabo-McBride, Tiffany Avram, and Kyle Duffy; and 9 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Kenneth and Reed Avram.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Thursday, December 27, 2018 starting at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Alger Cemetery. Rev. Rodney Morrison, Pastor will officiate.
