Kenneth L. Weston

Kenneth L. Weston, age 77, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. He was born on June 24, 1941 in Detroit to Harry and Clara (Pressel) Weston. Kenneth has lived in Lupton since 1989, formerly of St. Claire Shores. Kenneth served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a union commercial carpenter in the St. Clair Shores area for many years. Kenneth was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Rose City and the Eagles in Hale. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and spending time with his family.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn Weston of Lupton; sons, Troy K. (Mary) Weston, Randy (Tracy) Weston of Sheakleyville, PA, Rusty (Victoria Vincent) Weston of Long Lake, MI; daughter, Nickole (Joe) Mayhew of Rose City; grandchildren, Troy J. Weston, Callie Mayhew, Jodi Mayhew, Alex Ruggels, Rebeca Weston, Rodney Weston, and Sydney Struza. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Carol Weston and brother, Duane Weston.

The funeral service will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow at Lane Heights Cemetery. Pastor Nathan Jeffords will officiate.
