Laurence Edward Hensley

Laurence Edward Hensley, age 78, passed away unexpectedly, due to a car accident, on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. He was born on December 7, 1941 in Flint to Henry and Isabel (Hadden) Hensley. Larry lived in West Branch for the past 16 years, formerly of Flint. On May 5, 1962 he married Judith Tidball in Flint. He retired from Buick in 1993 and then worked for seven additional years at Baker College in the bookstore. Larry enjoyed RVing in the summer months and Texas hold’em. He volunteered at the food pantry in Skidway Lake and always enjoyed the Buick City breakfast in Flint each month with other retirees. LOVED BY ALL!!

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy Hensley of West Branch; daughters, Susan Hensley of Flint and Traci Hensley of Niagara Falls, NY; in-laws and their families, Ron (Jackie) Tidball, Ronnie (Michelle) Tidball, Shannon (Chad) Smith, Hannah and Alyssa Smith, Sandy Tidball, Cindy (Tidball) Topous, John (Glenda) Tidball and Lea Tidball. He is preceded in death by his parents and in-law, Bob Tidball.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in West Branch.
