Mertie Mae Boller

Mertie Mae Boller, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at The Brook in West Branch. She lived in West Branch since 1993, formerly of Lafayette, IN. Mertie was born on May 21, 1937 in Boone County, IN to Charles and Juanita (Canada) Owens. She retired from Kroger Grocery Stores in 1993 where she worked as a cashier. She enjoyed bowling, reading, puzzles, visiting her granddaughter and family.

Mertie is survived by her daughter, Connie (Dave) Clouse of West Branch; granddaughter, Alissa Clouse of St. Charles, MI; and nephew, Jackie Lee Hayes Jr. of Lafayette, IN. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George “Jake” Jr. in 1975, brothers, Richard and Ancel and sisters, Patty and Shirley.

Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lafayette, IN.
