Sheldon Francis Justice

Sheldon Francis Justice, age 75, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at his home in West Branch with his family by his side. He lived in West Branch since March 2007, formerly of St Clair Shores. He was born on September 11, 1943 in Detroit to Leroy and Mary (Coucke) Justice. Sheldon joined the United States Army in 1965, where he spent two years serving during the Vietnam Era. On July 24, 1970, he married Kathleen McCue in Detroit. He was the West Branch District Library Trustee and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, American Legion, Ogemaw County Veteran Alliance Honor Guard and the West River Park Drive Land Association Board.

Sheldon is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kathleen Justice; children, Kevin (Mona Nevill) Justice, Scott (Carrie) Justice, Rebecca (Michael) Dennis and Veronica (Mark) Dougherty; grandchildren, Dorothy Justice, Rusty Dennis, Abby Dennis, Malorie Dennis, Callie Justice, Casey Klofft, Dylan Dougherty, Barbara (Nathan) Wells and Christine (Frank) Ganda; great grandchildren, Eli Wells and Frankie Ganda; sisters, Louanne Stewart, Sylvia (John) Klimas, Christine (Steve) Whitney and Marilyn Justice; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and in-laws, John and Elaine McCue.

A Memorial Mass with veteran honors will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Visitation will be from 9:45-10:45 a.m. with Veterans Honors beginning at 10:45a.m. and the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate.
