Ada L. Trout

Mrs. Trout, age 97 of West Branch passed away at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. She was born October 24,1906 in West Branch the youngest of 15 children. She married Raymond Trout on June 22, 1927. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1978. She was a lifelong housewife and farmer. She was a member of the Farm Bureau, the St. Theresa Guild and the Holy Family Catholic Church and the CCW. She loved horses and going to horse shows, traveling and eating out. Survivors include her children--Geraldine Chrivia, Patsy (Robert) Marshall and James (Charlene) Trout all of West Branch, Roberta Smith of Bridgeport and Gloria Thompson of Saginaw, 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Annnesa Smith, a son in law Jack Chrivia and a special sister in law, Mary Wangler. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday October 6, 2004 from 12-9 P.M. There will be a Scripture Service at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Fr. Miro D. Weise will officate with burial following at Selkirk Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the donors choice.
