Albert Harold Miles

Albert H. Miles, age 77, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in West Branch since 1995, formerly of Oxford, MI. Albert was born to Harold and Cora Miles in Alpena, MI on August 23, 1937. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #2022. Albert enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to Mac’s Place, spending time with his family, and helping anyone in need.

Albert is survived by his children, Larry (Cheryl) Miles of West Branch, Terry (Janette) Miles of West Branch, and Albert (Christy) Miles Jr. of Farwell, MI; grandchildren: Nolan, Chelsea, Shayne, Kyle, Kaylyn, Aleesa, Travis, and Brandi; great grandchildren: Aniston, Hadley, Olive, Ivy, and Colin; sisters: Beverly (Max) Breault of Gladwin, MI and Betty Hoskins of Howell, MI; brothers: Lloyd (Linda) Miles of Gladwin, MI and Gary (Terri) Miles of Flint, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary in 2011, and brother, John.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m. On Friday, March 20, 2015, Albert will lie in state at Holy Family Catholic Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Mass at 12:00 p.m. with Veteran Honors. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.
