Surviving siblings are Richard Tews of Spooner, Wisconsin and Dorothy Houston of Belvidere, Illinois. He is also survived by Daughters Doris Bagby-Wood, of Amargosa Valley, Nevada and Donna Scheidegger, of Alger, Michigan. Al is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and countless friends in all 50 states, and 3 continents. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, in West Branch, Michigan will begin on Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. and Monday, November 24, 2008 from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. A funeral service, officiated by Douglas Weible of New Beginnings will be held at 1:30, Monday, directly following visitation.
