Albert W. Verbeke

Albert W. Verbeke, age 88 of St. Helen, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Grayling. He had lived in St. Helen since 1980, formerly of Essexville. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army and he was a member of the St. Helen Senior Citizens. He loved to fish and was an avid hunter. Albert is survived by his wife, Betty Verbeke of St. Helen, his son, Lloyd (Susan) Verbeke of Essexville, grandchildren, Gard Verbeke, Jason Verbeke, Dusty Verbeke and Betty Jo Purcell, 9 great-grandchildren, his daughter in law, Elaine Verbeke of Kawkawlin and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Albert Verbeke. Services have been held.
