In 1996, Alberta joined Edwin at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. She remained there for the rest of her years. Family and friends were always welcome at Alberta and Edwin's home and although they didn't have any children they always said they"...more than had our hands full with our 50 nieces and nephews." Alberta is survived by 22 nieces and nephews, numerous in-laws, grand and great nieces and nephews.
