Allen Jay Baker

Allen Jay Baker, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at his home in West Branch, MI. He had lived in West Branch since 1995, formerly of St. Clair Shores, MI. Allen was born on October 5, 1934 in Mt. Clemens, MI to Joseph and Mary (Rogers) Baker. He was a journeyman for the past 40 years. Allen loved what he did and enjoyed each day. He enjoyed woodworking, guns, and radio controlled airplanes. He loved all of his animals.

Allen is survived by his loving wife, Lois Baker of West Branch, MI; children, Terry (Deborah) Baker of Hazel Park, MI, Sandra Lewis of Waterford, MI; Tim (Paula) Baker of Warren, MI; Marcus (Jen) Baker of Shelby Township, MI; Linda (Larry) Kersten, Darleen (Tom) Gerding, Daniel (Leah) Mroz, and David (Jan) Mroz; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Christine and son, Ricky.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Cadillac Memorial East in Clinton Township, MI. Pastor Rodney Morrison will officiate.
