Alvina M. Green

Alvina M. Green, age 101, passed away Monday June 15, 2009 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Alvina lived in West Branch area all of her life. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church Ladies Guild and operated Green’s Store at Klacking Creek for 24 years. Alvina is survived by son, Richard H. (Dorothy) Green of Flint, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband, Harold in 1969, brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 17, 2009 at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch from 4-9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday June 18, 2009 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. There will be a Scripture Service Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM. Father Miro D. Wiese OFM will officiate. Burial will take place following the mass at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
