Anna Chop

Anna Chop, age 94, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI. Anna was born to John and Anna Metro on February 23, 1919 in Youngstown, OH. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #416, V.F.W. and Civic Center Association. Anna loved going to the casino, crocheting, ceramics, sewing and spending time with family.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Mabel (Norman) Watkins of Sturgeon Bay, WI, her grandchildren, Dan (Sherry) Watkins, Steve (Jackie Falk) Watkins, Dr. Lisa (John) Liseno, Dr. Robin (Nick Mitchell) Watkins, Alan (Jennifer) Petry, Michele (Ryan) Cohee,her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Watkins, Elliot Watkins, Pierce Petry, Jordan Petry, Hannah Cohee, and Ethan Cohee, and her daughter in law, Diane Petry of West Branch, MI. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Chop and son, Robert Petry.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Steuernol McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11am. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #416 in St. Helen or the Civic Center Association.
