Anthony John Leach Iii

Anthony John Leach III, age 66, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at his home in Prescott, MI. He had lived in Prescott since 1986, formerly of CA. Anthony was born on January 6, 1951 in Detroit, MI to Anthony and Gloria (Martin) Leach II. On August 10, 1986 he married Jeannie Huff in Las Vegas, NV. Anthony was in the Army 27th Combat Engineer and served during Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW in Skidway Lake and enjoyed archeology, history, politics, theology, golfing, fishing, reading, boxing and especially Mahammad Ali. Above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie Leach of Prescott, MI; children, Zena (Steve) Savoie of Roseville, MI, Anthony Leach of Prescott, MI, Whitney (Nicholas Southworth) Leach of Sterling, MI, and Ryan Leach of Prescott, MI; grandchildren, Logan Savoie, Zaylie Savoie, Everett Smieleski, and Marlie Southworth; siblings, Timothy Leach of Southfield, MI, Cynthia Wilson of Lakeland, FL, Sandy Dyc of TN, and Thomas Leach of TN; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Gloria Leach and brother, Terrance Leach.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will begin on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Richland Township Cemetery. Pastor Doug Kennedy will officiate.
