Arthur R. Moose

Arthur R. Moose, age 88 passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Brook of Roscommon. Loving father of Karen I. (Charles) Michael of West Branch, dear brother of Freda Blake of Louisville, OH and Mona Gates of Kent, OH, brother in law, Gerald Kaiser of Lupton. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine and his parents, Ed and Eleanor Moose. A resident of Taylor, former resident of Romulus and was at the Brook of Roscommon, Arthur enjoyed hunting and going to the casino. He was a 32 Degree Mason, a member of the Redford Metropolitan Lodge #152 and a life member of the Wayne Chapter #182, Royal Order of Masons. He was Associated Guardian of Job Daughter’s Bethel #72 of Dearborn, MI and a life member of the VFW, Post #3703 of Kent, Ohio. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 4-9 p.m. On Monday, September 21, 2009, visitation will be held at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home in Taylor, Michigan from 3-9 p.m. with the Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Howe-Peterson. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
