Arthur Walter Jankens Jr.

Arthur Walter Jankens Jr., age 83, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Medilodge of Sterling. He lived in West Branch since 2002, formerly of Essexville, MI.

Art was born on February 25, 1938 in Bay City to Arthur and Roselina (Steffans) Jankens Sr. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed deer hunting, snowmobiling, and watching baseball.

Art is survived by his son, James (CathyJo) Jankens of Newaygo, MI; grandchildren, Stacey, Mark, Catie, Avery, Hunter, and Logan; brother, Ron (Carol) Jankens of Bay City, MI; and helped to raise two special boys to the family, Michael and Matthew Stewart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joyce, sister, Kathy, and brother, Ken.
