Audrey M. Crawford

Audrey Mildred Crawford, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. She was born on June 10, 1922 in Oldham, SD to Harry and Christina (Jensen) Millett. Audrey lived in Alger since 1963. Audrey was a member of Edward’s Community Church and volunteered with the VFW and Blood Bank. She served as Bourrett Twp. treasurer for several years. Audrey loved to read and was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed traveling and the arts.
Audrey is survived by her children, John Crawford, Carolyn (John) Massey, Penny Coppinger, Patricia (Mick) Walters, Alfred Crawford and Anita (Brian) Benolken. Audrey had nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred and son, Alan.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Edwards Twp. Cemetery. Rev. Paul Klassen will officiate.
