Bernadine Ann Hacht

Bernadine Hacht, age 80 of West Branch, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her home. Bernadine was born on January 5, 1937 to Stephen and Regina Tyranski in Detroit, MI. She married Francis F. Hacht on May 25, 1964 at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hamtramck, MI. Bernadine lived in West Branch for 48 years, previously of the Detroit area. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul. . Bernadine was well respected in the area with the doctors and nurses. She enjoyed camping, spending time with her family and laughing until she cried.

Bernadine is survived by her husband Frank Hacht of West Branch, son, Charles (Jennifer) Hacht of Grand Rapids, son, John Hacht of West Branch, daughter, Ann Marie Sumner of Ferndale, grandchildren, Morgan, Brogan, and Addison. Also surviving are sisters, Patricia (Ted) Karpowicz of Bloomfield and Shirley Jurek of Troy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Regina Tyranski and brother-in-law, Frank Jurek.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with family receiving friends from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.
