Betty Helen Weiss

Betty Helen Weiss, age 89, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at The Brook in West Branch surrounded by her family. She was born on September 1, 1933 in Detroit, MI to Otto and Helen (Weber) Schroeder.

Betty lived in West Branch since 1989 formerly of Auburn, MI. She married Floyd Weiss in Colorado Springs, CO on July 16, 1956.

Betty was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch and involved with the church choir and ladies aid and also a member at the West Branch Country Club. She enjoyed golfing, camping, and traveling in the fifth wheel to Texas in the winter. She enjoyed her travels in the summer to Alaska, the U.P., and Europe.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Floyd Weiss of West Branch; sister-in-law, Marie Schroeder of Bay City; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold Schroeder and Calvin Schroeder, and sister, Linda Struthers.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Howard Travis will officiate.
