Bonnie Joy Mcclung

Bonnie Joy McClung, age 74, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI. She has lived in Hale, MI since 1998, formerly of Independence, MO. Bonnie was born to Milton and Caroline (Dice) Mills on January 27, 1940 in Detroit, MI. On September 20, 1985, she married Kenneth W. McClung in Independence, MO and this year they had celebrated 29 years of marriage. Bonnie was a member of the Sewing Guild and enjoyed sewing and drawing.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth McClung of Hale, MI; children: Kris Spyhalski of Hale, MI, Julia (John) Dotson of San Antonio, TX, Melanie Babb of Virginia Beach, VA, Roger (Barbara) McClung of Raymore, MO and Judy Bray of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren: John C. Dotson, Alexa Dotson, Marissa Dotson and Zachary Ballard; sisters: Corinne Mills of Sun City West, AZ, Margaret Yon of Grayling, MI, Dorothy Mills of Rockford, MI, Marilyn Stanton of Sun City West, AZ, and Rebecca Widmar of Decatur, AL; brother: Edward Mills of Northfield, MN; and special friends: Becky Strange of Independence, MO and Carolyn Johnson of CA.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Richard McClindon will officiate.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ogemaw County Commission on Aging.
