C. Darcy Ranney

C. Darcy Ranney, age 57 of Rose City, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at her home. Darcy had lived in Ogemaw County since 2008, formerly of Genesee County. She earned an Associates Degree in computer science from Mott Community College. She enjoyed reading and computers. Darcy is survived by her daughter, Carrie Ranney of Rose City, grandchildren, Alexandria Hall, Alisha Adams and Anthony Ranney, her father, George Ranney of Lupton, her brothers, George Ranney Jr. of Rose City, Kevin Ranney of Lupton and Kelvin (Judy) Ranney of West Branch and her sisters, Candace Ranney of Flint and Jody Ranney of California. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Ranney in 1998. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Monday, December 8, 2008 from 3-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Donald Wojewski will officiate with burial following at Lane Heights Cemetery, Lupton. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
