Carl Ward Miller, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Carl was born to Lawrence and Virginia Miller in Bay City, MI on February 13, 1938. Carl was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mio, MI. He was also a past member of the American Legion Bay City Post. Carl was in the Navy Reserve for 8 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trips to Canada, and spending time with family.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janet Miller; children: Mark (Cheryl) Miller, Brian (Lori) Miller, Amy (Steve Sagissor) McCarthy; grandchildren: April (Adam) Glodowski, Amber (Kurt) Kolander, Jacob Miller, Jeremy Miller, Brianna Miller, Megan (James Graves) McCarthy, John (Rainey) McCarthy II, and Samantha McCarthy; great grandchildren: James, Ava, Jonah, Rowen, Levi, and Mason; and sister, Marylyn Clayton.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mio, MI at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jacob Schwartz will officiate.

Memorial Contributions can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
