Chad William Gilbert

Chad W. Gilbert, age 22 passed away suddenly July 12, 2009. Chad had lived in Nashville, TN for the past 4 years, formerly of West Branch. He graduated from Harpeth High School in Nashville in 2005. He formerly played football for the Ogemaw Browns. Chad is survived by his father, Michael Gilbert of Bay City, his mother Gwen (Don) Skover of Bentley, brothers, Garrett Gilbert and Shawn Gilbert both of Georgetown, KY and Zachary Gilbert of Bay City, grandparents, Sharlene and Willis Estep of Howell, John and Cheryl Schafer of Caro, and Virginia Gilbert of Bay City and his great-grandmother Ibra Taylor of Howell. Also surviving is his niece Skyla Rose Gilbert of Bay City and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 from 3-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate.
