Charles A. Slupski

Charles A. Slupski, age 86 passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. He had lived in West Branch since 1991, formerly of Taylor. Charles was a veteran of WWII and served his country bravely. He also received a Purple Heart. Charles is survived by his children, Darlene Featherstone of Lincoln Park, JoAnn (Russell) St. Amour of Wyandotte, Keith (Cathy) Slupski of Hartsville, TN, Shirley (Alton) Smith of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Eugene (Frankie) Slupski of Wayne and Donna (Kenneth) Roberts of Taylor, 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is sister, Genevieve Smith and his sister-in-law Irene Slupski. He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Slupski, sisters, Irene Sidebottom, MaryZimbicki, Frances Sidebottom and Amy Kucherek, his brothers, John Slupski and Ray Slupski. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Visitation at church will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Fr. Patrick Maher will officiate.
