Charles "Charlie" A. Ahrent

Charles A. Ahrent “Charlie”, age 67 of St. Helen, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City. Charles had lived in St. Helen since 1973, formerly of Royal Oak. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in West Branch. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, attending Detroit Tiger games and mowing the lawn. He was always punctual. Charles is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy Ahrent of St. Helen, children, Jane Ahrent of San Antonio, TX, Donald Ahrent of Norcross, GA, Ann Klusman of Denver, IA, Jennifer Ahrent of Fenton, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Also surviving is his sister, Sue (Red) Hendricks of Russellville, KY and his brother, Rick (Michele) Ahrent of West Branch, 2 nieces, 2 nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doin and Geraldine Ahrent. No services will be held.
