Charles David McMahon, age 84, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI. He lived in St. Helen, MI since 1991, formerly of Pontiac. Charles was born on July 25, 1936 in Pontiac to Orval and Eva (Reed) McMahon.

Charles served in the United States Army in Germany during the Korean War from 1954 – 1957. On March 7, 1977, he married Mary Beutler in Pontiac. He worked and retired from General Motors in Pontiac. He was an avid golfer and was a member at the Birch Pointe Golf Course in St. Helen.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Mary McMahon; son, David (Darla) McMahon; daughter, Deborah (Jimm) VeuCasovic; brother, David (Karen) McMahon; sister-in-law, Christine McMahon; brother-in-law, Gerald Beutler; adoptive sons, Joe Friday and Scott Rice; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at the Community Baptist Church in St. Helen on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
