Clarabelle J. Jones

Clarabelle Jean Jones, age 78, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016, at her home in St. Helen, MI. She was born to Olney and Olive (Hawkins) Dickinson in Applegate, MI on February 26, 1938. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time outside working in her garden, attending her flowers and feeding the birds. Clarabelle loved to help in the nursery at her church in Croswell and enjoyed gatherings with her family. Clarabelle was a breast cancer survivor. She loved and adored her grandson, Zachary, as he was her best buddy.
Clarabelle is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, J. Richard “Dick” Jones of St. Helen, MI; daughters, Pamela (Tim) LaVere of West Branch, MI and Jennifer (Ron) Walters of Tipp City, OH; grandson, Zachary LaVere of West Branch, MI; sister, Muriel Buchin of Bradenton, FL; sister in law, Amilda Dickinson of Applegate, MI; special friends, Don and Shirley Culter; special neighbor, Char Jarstfer; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Olney and Olive; brother, Dean Dickinson; brothers in law, Thomas E. Jones, Robert Colgan, and George Buchin; and sister in law, Virginia Jones-Colgan.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, MI will begin on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pastor Tim LaVere will officiate.
