Clarence R. Johnson

Clarence R. Johnson, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at The Villa of Rose City. He had lived in West Branch, MI since 1996, formerly of Lupton, MI. He was born to Henry and Effie (Swanson) Johnson on November 20, 1928 in Flint, MI. Clarence served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed playing cards, yard work, putt-sing around in the garage, and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Clarence is survived by his children, Larry (Heike) Weston of Ramstein, Germany, William (Tina) Weston of Bay City, Kevin (Noelle) Weston of Callaway, MD, Patricia (Chris) Hebert of Rose City, Kimberlee (Matt) Scott of Lupton, MI and Shawn (Krystal) Weston of Richland, WA; 15 grandchildren, Jennifer, Anthony, Thomas, Kelsi, James, Katie, Cody, Dylan, Claire, Ashley, Christopher, Keersten, Megan, Zachary and Gavin and a great-grandchildren, Marie, Luca, Chloee, and Faith; siblings, Harvey Johnson of Flint, MI, Elaine Dolan of Swartz Creek, MI, Alvin Johnson of Grand Blanc, MI, and Melvin (Alina) Johnson of Flint Twp., MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Johnson and his parents.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2015 until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Jody Coon will officiate.
