David B. Mclay

David B. McLay, age 55, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 18, 2006 in West Branch. He resided in West Branch since 2000, formerly of Royal Oak. David married his wife Bobbi on May 9, 1987 in Hazel Park. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of West Branch, the National Rifle Association and the U.A.W. He loved hunting, his Harley Davidson motorcycle and his granddaughter. His hobby was making knives and sheaths. Surviving family members include his wife Bobbi, son Brian (Mary) McLay of West Branch and daughter Brigette (Thomas Driscoll, Jr. “T.J.”) McLay of West Branch. Also surviving are his granddaughter Anjelina Driscoll, sister Ann Lloyd of Holly, sister Nancy (Michael) Wurm of White Lake and many nieces and nephews. Preceeding David in death were his parents John and Marie McLay. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will be on Monday, November 20, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mary Lynch Mallory officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
