David G. Huffman

David G. Huffman, age 62 of Rose City, passed away at his home. He had lived in Rose City for the past 20 years, formerly of Troy. Mr. Huffman was a member of the Moose Lodge in West Branch and was a volunteer for Hospice of Helping Hands. He retired after 25 years from the City of Southfield, serving as a firefighter. He was a Sergeant in the Marines during the Vietnam era. He also enjoyed golfing. Mr. Huffman is survived by his children, Deanna (Kurt) Schwarz of Wolverine Lake and Eric Huffman of West Bloomfield, 3 grandchildren, Stephen, Summer and Joseph, his sister, Dianne (Bill) Ries of Madison Heights and 2 nieces, Jennifer and Sarah. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday May 22, 2005 at the Moose Lodge #2051 in West Branch. The family will be present at the lodge beginning at 1:00 P.M. to receive friends.
