Delores A. Storms

Delores Ann Storms, age 74 of St. Helen, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at her residence in St. Helen. Delores was born February 9, 1938, the daughter of Ola Curtis and Ruth Marie (Butler) Wright. She had lived in St. Helen area since 1976, formerly of Birch Run, MI. Delores was known as “Grandma Dee” and enjoyed fishing, reading, and enjoyed being at their hunting camp. She was an honorary member to the Jokers Motorcycle Club Marquette, Michigan. Delores is survived by her children, Sherry (Gary) Schwemle, St. Helen; Frank Jr . (Joy) Storms; Tina Mauppin, Houghton Lake; and Danny Storms, Kent. WA. She has 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and her significant other, Delbert “Dutch” Storms, St. Helen. She also leaves three sisters and two brothers: Rosie (Danny) Manchester, Birch Run; Ruthie (Myron) Leslie, Birch Run; Carol (Norman) Knack, Birch Run; Chet (Elaine) Wright, Gladwin; Ola Wright Jr., Fenton. She was preceded by her Husband, Frank in 2005, and her parents, Ola & Ruth Wright. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home Monday, April 23, 2012. Rev. Ken Peterson will officiate. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
