Dennis Paul Anderson

Dennis P. Anderson, age 69, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at The Carriage House of Bay City. He was born on October 20, 1950 in Flint, MI to Harold and Meryl (Risk) Anderson. He married Deborah Karhoff on April 2, 1977.

Dennis loved football, and was an assistant coach at Ogemaw Heights High School. He enjoyed working on old cars. He traveled across the United States with his family, and visited many National Parks. He built and flew radio controlled airplanes and enjoyed fishing with his three sons.

Dennis was one of the original team members at Saturn in Spring Hill, TN. He resided in Columbia, TN with his family until 1995, when they moved to West Branch. He previously worked as an electrician, and also at Chevrolet Metal Fabrication in Flint, MI.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Deborah Anderson of West Branch, MI; children, Nicholas (Deanna) Anderson of Lebanon, TN, Ken Anderson of West Branch, and Lori Smith. Also surviving are his three grandsons, Sebastian, James and Trevor. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Travis Anderson and his brother, Dave Anderson.

Per Dennis’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held at this time.
