Donald C. Finerty

Donald C. Finerty, age 66 of West Branch, passed away October 16, 2005 at Flint McLaren Hospital. Mr. Finerty had lived in West Branch since 2005, formerly of Flint. He belonged to the Frankenmuth Wood Carvers Guild and Local #948 IBEW of Flint. He retired from General Motors in 2000, after 27 years of service. Mr. Finerty is survived by his wife Nancy Finerty of West Branch, children, Scott (Lauri) Finerty of Fenton, Karri (Pat) Ferweda of Clio and Lori(Dave) Gauna of Chesaning, grandchildren, John, Brian, Bridget, Samantha, Kevin, Stephanie and Monica and his sister, Mary Ann (Don) Freel of Pinconning. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Gertrude Finerty. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 from 3-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate with burial following at Ogemaw Springs Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
