Donald E. Kruse

Donald E. Kruse, age 82, passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center on Sunday, February 10, 2013. Donald had lived in West Branch for the past 32 years, formerly of Fenton. He was a member of the RC Airplane Club (AMA), and belonged to the Ogemaw Lanes and Skidway Lake bowling leagues. He enjoyed woodworking, painting, fishing, golfing and feeding the birds. Donald is survived by his wife Carol Kruse of West Branch, children Randy (Lydia) Kruse of Clinton, IN and Linda (Mickey) LaBuschewski of Howell; 6 grandchildren Randy Kruse Jr., Lacey Harmon, Aaron (Christina) Kruse, Daniel Kruse, Crystal LaBuschowski and Kimberly Ringenbach, and 7 great-grandchildren Alan, Ivy, Katelyn, Hayden, Aryn, Hunter and Gunner. Also surviving are two brothers Elwyn (Shirley) Kruse of Argentine, and Norman (Shelby) Kruse of Florida. He was preceded in death by his two sons Ronald and Glen Kruse, his parents and two brothers Loren and Larry. A Memorial Dinner will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m at the Lake Ogemaw Summer Resort Association.
