Donna Jean Foster

Donna Jean Foster, age 92, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 Crawford Continuing Care in Grayling, MI. She was born to Claude and Beatrice Parrow in Port Huron, MI on November 5, 1923. Donna had lived in St. Helen since 1981, formerly of Port Huron. Donna married Joseph H. Foster Sr. in Port Huron on September 18, 1941 and he precedes her in death. She was a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church C.C.W. and the American Legion Post #416 Auxiliary. Donna enjoyed crafting, traveling, and hunting.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Joann Mallorey of Port Huron, MI; sons, Joseph H. (Christa) Foster Jr. of St. Helen, MI and James L. Foster of Port Huron, MI; 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Beatrice, husband, Joseph H. Foster Sr., daughter, Mary L. Hammer, and son, Gary K. Foster.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, November 19, 2015 Donna will lie in state at St. Helen Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Mass at 11:00 a.m. Father Larry Sergott and Sister Barbara Matievich O.P. will officiate. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Port Huron.
