Doris Marie Deroso

Doris Marie DeRoso, age 80, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in West Branch, MI. She had lived in West Branch for most of her life. Doris was born on May 26, 1936 to Louis and Marie (Busch) Boyd in Lake Orion, MI. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church since 1958. Doris had been working part time as the church secretary for the past couple years and served on several boards and councils within the parish.

Doris is survived by her children, Kathleen (Dan) Millard of Roscommon, Frances DeRoso of Rose City, June (Scott) Matthews of SC, Mark DeRoso of Rose City, Beverly (Matt) Arntz of Rose City, Dan DeRoso of Canton, Theresa (Scott) Souza of MA, and William (LuAnn Frey) DeRoso of PA; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and siblings, Mike (Barb) Boyd, William (Sandy) Boyd, Patricia (George) Whited, and Sue Ford. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, William DeRoso.

Visitation at Holy Family Church, 402 W. Peters Rd., West Branch, MI will begin on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Scripture Service that evening. The Celebration of Life Mass will be at Holy Family Church on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.
