Doris O. Mcfadden

Doris O. (Daly) (Hinkle) McFadden age 91 of Lupton, passed away January 30, 2010 at her home. Doris was born November 8, 1918 to Henry and Ida Hinkle in Sheldon, IL. She was a member of Holy Family Church, the CCW, St. Rose Guild and a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Doris married Edwin L. Daly on June 8, 1940 and was a mother to seven children, Clara Tamer, Michael (Sue) Daly, Patrick (Cathy) Daly, Marueen Shaeffer, Diane (Billy) Sherwood and Mary Sincock. She was preceded in death by Edwin and her son Edward. On January 28, 1984, Doris married Stanley McFadden and their children are Doug McFadden, Ken (Denise) McFadden and Marilyn (Mark) Wolffradt. Stanley preceded her in death in 2007. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 3-9 p.m. The Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Klacking Creek. Fr. Patrick Maher will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or to the VFW.
