Dorothy (Dot) Sweeney

August 27, 1910 — April 22, 2003

Mrs. Sweeney passed away at Mariner Health Care in Palmetto, Florida. She was a member of the Elks, the Moose Lodge, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion and the VFW. Mrs. Sweeney is survived by her daughter, Dorothy (Guy) Kessler of Waterford, MI., son, Harold E. (Jim) Koviak of Palmetto, FL., granddaughter, Rene' Koviak of Brandenton, FL, and grandsons, Jim (Carol) Kessler of Oxford, MI. and Todd Kessler of Clarkston, MI. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren--Mike, Matthew, Mitchell and Megan Kessler and many nieces and nephews. She had a great zest for living and embraced life with a smile always. She will be sorely missed by family and dear friend Edna Nerden and all those who knew her and were entertained by her. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 17, 2003, 11:00 A.M. at Mills Township Cemetery, Prescott. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
