Dorothy Louise Romancky

Dorothy Louise Romancky, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at The Villa at West Branch. She has lived in St. Helen, MI all of her life. Dorothy was born to Comer and Frances (Hester) Bumbalough in Detroit, MI on September 25, 1929. She was a member of the St. Helen Assembly of God Church and loved being a hostess and to entertain. Dorothy enjoyed music, reading, drawing, and oil painting.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Robert (Deb) Romancky Jr. of St. Helen, MI, Comer (Cindy) Romancky of St. Helen, MI, John (JoAnne Jorae) Romancky of New Port Richey, FL, Ellen (Chet) Butler of St. Helen, MI, and Hallis (Troy) Romancky of St. Helen, MI; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and sister, Mary Romancky of Houghton Lake, MI. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Romancky Sr., brothers, Richard and William Bumbalough, and sister, Linda Hanes.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, MI will begin on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate.
