Douglas B. Robinson

Douglas B. Robinson age 80 of West Branch passed away Monday January 26, 2004 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch with his family at his side. Mr. Robinson had lived in West Branch for all of his life. He was a member of the K of C #2022 and St. Joseph Catholic Church. He married Shirley Wood on November 21, 1944 in West Branch. She preceded him in death. Mr. Robinson is survived by his children, Sheila "Tootie" (Tom) Webber of East Tawas, Shelda "Jeanie" (Ron) Keith and David "Butch" (Mary) Robinson both of West Branch and Sharon "Miki" Curfman and friend Ken of Lansing, grandchildren--Ron (Lisa) Keith II of St. Helen, Sheila (Matt) Sundrla of Hartland, Jami and Kristina Osborne of Lansing, Victoria Robinson of West Branch, great-grandchidren Trevor and Paige Sundrla of Hartland and step grandsons, William and Thomas Webber. Also surviving is a sister, Berdina Stephens of Warren. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday January 27, 2004 from 6-9 P.M. and Wednesday from 12-9 P.M. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday January 29, 2004. Fr. Miro D. Wiese OFM will officiate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Bortz Health Care Facility in Memory of Douglas and Shirley Robinson.
