Eileen W. Patterson

Eileen W. Patterson, (Eileen W. Christiansen McCready Patterson), age 93 of Traverse City, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at The Grand Traverse Pavilions. Eileen lived most of her life in Sterling, but also resided in Detroit and Pennsylvania before moving to Traverse City. She was a member of the Sterling Wesleyan Church and the Eastern Star of Standish. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, singing and spending time with her family. Eileen is survived by her sons, Jeff Christiansen of Melbourne, FL and Art (Nancy) Christiansen of Traverse City, grandchildren, Dee (Don) Maffey, Amy (Scott) Ash, Chadd (Amber) Christiansen, Jeramy (Cindy) Christiansen and Lindsay Christiansen and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Clara Dunn and her brother Elwood Deitz both of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arnold Christiansen, Alan McCready and William Patterson. Visitation at the Wesleyan Church in Sterling will begin on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jeff Keen will officiate with burial following at Sterling Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
